Treat the enclosure as part of the project brief
Selecting a structure is only the beginning. The roof, walls, openings, floor and supporting services shape how the covered space can be used. Compare these items together so an attractive exterior does not leave practical requirements unresolved.
Available options depend on the structure and manufacturing partner. YIHE helps coordinate product choices and clarify which items belong in the agreed supply scope.
Roof and wall options
PVC fabric, transparent enclosure elements, metal panels and insulated panel systems may be considered for different project requirements. Ask for the actual material specification, proposed assembly and available supporting documents rather than relying on a broad material name.
For an event space, discuss daylight, privacy, appearance and the planned internal conditions. For storage or operational use, discuss access, ventilation, maintenance and the needs of the stored goods or activity. Where insulation is required, compare the proposed system and its documented specification for the intended use.
Transparency, insulation and a closed wall do not by themselves define comfort or suitability. The complete enclosure and the planned operating services should be reviewed together.
Doors, openings and circulation
Show where people, vehicles, goods and service equipment need to enter. Specify required clear openings and identify any loading, reception or circulation routes that must remain available.
Review door type, position, operating arrangements and interfaces with the surrounding site. Accessibility and escape requirements need to be considered for the actual layout and applicable local requirements.
Flooring and the ground interface
Clarify whether a floor is included or whether the existing site surface will be used. Review levels, transitions, access, drainage and the intended loads and activities. Identify who supplies the ground preparation, floor system and any related site works.
Ask how the proposed floor, enclosure and anchoring or foundation approach are coordinated. These interfaces should appear in the project scope and relevant drawings.
Ventilation, lighting and other services
List the required ventilation, lighting, electrical supply and any heating or cooling needs. Identify which systems are supplied with the tent and which are provided by other contractors. Equipment connections or items supported from the structure require review for the proposed arrangement.
A checklist for comparing proposals
Roof and wall materials, configuration and supporting documents.
Doors, clear openings, entrances and circulation requirements.
Flooring, site preparation and ground interfaces.
Ventilation, lighting, utilities and service responsibilities.
Installation, maintenance and acceptance scope.
Review your configuration with YIHE. Share how the space will operate so structure, enclosure and accessory options can be considered against the same requirements.
